The BC Forest Safety Council’s supervisor training is an optional course for field supervisors and managers responsible for forest workers. Re-training is not a requirement to keep your training current.
However, in recognition of the vital role supervisors play every day, and the need to support them in the tough decisions they face when managing the pressures of dealing with workers while managing production and administrative pressures, the Council provides ongoing information and safety resources to people who successfully complete basic forest supervisor training. In the future, additional online or in-person training may be available as well.
