Vehicle Identification Number Program

Who are you?  The Vehicle Identification Number Program is a Voluntary, self reporting program.

Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) are unique number plates mounted on the front of vehicles.  They contain the name of the company and a number to identify the vehicle.

VIN’s are often required by licencees and contractors, and provide an easy way to identify vehicles.  This makes drivers and owners more accountable for their actions on the road. The VIN program has proven to reduce crashes and unsafe driving in many regions, and has proven beneficial to employers for tracking their vehicles.  For example, the VIN program is widely used in the silviculture industry, where vehicles are deployed all over the province.

Currently we are updating our database.  If you are a company that uses VIN plates please fill out the form at the bottom of the page so we can add you to our list and get the database as up to date as possible.
